We're Hiring: Travel CT Technologist
Location: New York
Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts (8am-6pm)
Pay: Weekly pay : $2,400-2,800

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel CT Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Clinical Environment Patient Volume: High-efficiency environment with patients scheduled every 20–30 minutes. Equipment & Systems: * Scanner: GE EHR/PACS: Royal Solutions; E UV PACS
Key Responsibilities Imaging & Positioning: Position and immobilize patients on the examining table using supportive devices to ensure precision; follow specific protocols as outlined by the Radiologist. Contrast Administration: Administer contrast media intravenously and assist Physicians or Nurses with IV administration as needed. Technical Operations: Enter scan parameters (slice thickness, scan time, etc.) into the computer system and operate CT scanners to image designated anatomical areas. Patient Care: Monitor patient safety and comfort through the control room window and communicate via the intercom system throughout the procedure. Quality Control: View images on video display screens to ensure technical quality; evaluate radiographs and computer-generated data for diagnostic accuracy. Maintenance: Perform daily and weekly Quality Assurance (QA) checks on equipment.
Required Certificates and Licenses To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following credentials: NYS RT License: Must hold a valid New York State Radiologic Technologist license with Injection credentials. Certification: ARRT(CT) specialty certification is required. Life Support: Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
