Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused GHX Implementation Specialist to lead and support the implementation of GHX solutions within a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GHX Exchange, GHX NuVia, GHX Procure, and other GHX platforms, with a strong background in EDI integration, supply chain processes, and healthcare procurement systems. This role requires excellent communication skills, project management capabilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end GHX implementations for healthcare providers and suppliers, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support. Serve as the primary customer-facing liaison, ensuring clear communication, timely updates, and alignment with client goals. Collaborate with internal teams (IT, supply chain, procurement, and finance) and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of GHX solutions. Configure and support EDI transactions (e.g., 810, 850, 855, 856, 997) and troubleshoot data mapping or transmission issues. Conduct training sessions and workshops for client teams on GHX tools and best practices. Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and risks, ensuring successful and timely deployment. Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations based on client feedback and system performance. Maintain documentation for implementation processes, configurations, and client-specific requirements.
Required Qualifications: 10+ years of hands-on experience with GHX platforms in a healthcare or supply chain environment. Proven experience with EDI standards and protocols (X12, EDIFACT, AS2, FTP/SFTP). Strong understanding of healthcare procurement, supply chain workflows, and ERP systems (e.g., Lawson, Oracle, SAP, Workday). Demonstrated success in customer-facing roles, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Ability to analyze and resolve complex integration issues independently. Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Visio, and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).
Preferred Qualifications: GHX certifications or training (e.g., GHX Exchange, NuVia, GHX Procurement Suite). Experience working with healthcare providers, IDNs, or suppliers. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and data security standards in healthcare. PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to build trust and rapport with clients and internal teams. Adaptability to changing priorities and client needs
