FedEx Freight Leads the enterprise-wide architecture function to define and evolve a unified architecture vision, governance and roadmap that align data, application, infrastructure and integration platforms with strategic business priorities
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities
Recruit, mentor, develop, and evaluate a team of high performing IT leadership and professionals fostering reusability and continuous improvement.
2 Define and evolve the enterprise architecture strategy and governance to align technology capabilities with business goals
Lead architectural oversight across applications, data platforms and infrastructure/cloud to ensure consistency and scalability Own the architecture review board to enforce standards, compliance and enterprise-wide best practices Collaborate with product, infrastructure, engineering, integrations and data governance leaders to ensure architectural alignment and integration Support the alignment of enterprise data architecture with master data management (MDM), data governance and analytics strategies led by dedicated teams Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data protection standards. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Ten (10 years of progressive IT enterprise architecture, including 5+ years in a leadership role managing cross-functional teams and enterprise systems. Strategic planning and execution in IT environments. Strong expertise in designing enterprise-grade systems for logistics, transportation, supply chain or asset-intensive industries Deep knowledge of architecture frameworks such as The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) and ArchiMate, including modeling tools and hybrid/cloud modernization Proven background working in integration-heavy environments involving Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Enterprise Service Buses (ESB), and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Strong financial acumen and experience managing multi-million-dollar IT budgets. Excellent communication and executive presentation skills. Proven ability to lead digital transformation and change management initiatives. Deep understanding of IT governance, compliance, and risk management.

This position may be domiciled at a FedEx Freight location in Memphis, Harrison, or Dallas. Depending on your location, you may be required to work at a FedEx campus several times per week.
