PART TIME HR CONSULTANT - RALEIGH-DURHAM (TRIANGLE), NC Are you an experienced HR professional who’s not seeking full-time work but wants to stay engaged in meaningful, flexible, and impactful HR projects? We’re looking for talented HR professionals to join our team as
part-time HR Consultants . In this role, you'll support a variety of client organizations, providing expert HR guidance and services.
Assignments vary in scope, duration, and hours are not guaranteed —making this a great opportunity for those who value flexibility and diverse work experiences.
(Please note: This role cannot be held in addition to a full-time job.) What You’ll Do: Deliver strategic and tactical HR support to multiple clients across many industries Provide guidance in all areas of HR, including compliance, employee relations, performance management, benefits, and more Help implement or manage payroll, HRIS systems, and leave administration processes Conduct workplace investigations and advise on employment law compliance Build strong client relationships through responsive, professional service This is a part-time, flexible role.
Assignments are project-based and not guaranteed to be ongoing or follow a regular schedule. You
must be based in the Raleigh-Durham (Triangle), NC area
and available to travel to local client sites as needed. What We’re Looking For: 10+ years of exempt-level HR Generalist and/or HR Management experience Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field Strong knowledge of employment laws and best practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized, client-focused, and adaptable Experience with payroll and HRIS implementations (preferred) Background in benefits and leave administration (preferred) Strategic HR and people management experience (strongly preferred) HR certification(s) preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) If you’re seeking a flexible, professional opportunity to make a real impact across different organizations—and you meet the criteria above—we’d love to connect with you.
