Building risk applications and tools for an innovative international top-tier hedge fund, including systems for traders, pre-trade checks and analysis, risks and limits management, trading activity reports, FIX connectivity, and market data providers connectivity (e.g., Bloomberg B-pipe). The team focuses on developing and maintaining database applications supporting risk management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database design, PL/SQL development, data processing techniques, and a good understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies. Responsibilities:
Develop business-friendly data models. Migrate data from SQL Server to Fabric and/or Azure. Mandatory Skills:
Strong understanding of data modeling and data quality principles. Experience with data architecture and warehousing, including migrating SQL to Fabric. Proven experience in designing and developing data models using industry best practices. Experience with code management and CI/CD tools such as Github, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo. Senior (10+ years) MS SQL Server developer/architect. Azure Fabric service experience. 10+ years working with ETL tools like SSIS, ADF. Good knowledge of Power Query (M language) and DAX. Management of Power BI datasets, workspaces, and security; familiarity with Power BI Premium, Power BI REST APIs, Python, and Databricks is a plus. Extensive experience designing reports and performance metrics from complex platforms. Nice-to-Have Skills:
Azure experience. Risks trading system development experience. Business knowledge in trading or capital markets. Languages:
