As a
Project Architect , you’ll play a key role in shaping communities from the inside out. This isn’t just a design job, it’s a chance to lead with intention, collaborate with purpose, and help create spaces that feel like home from day one.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll work alongside our in-house development, construction, and interior design teams to bring best-in-class multifamily and mixed-use communities to life. You’ll help guide projects from early concepts through completion, translating vision into plans and plans into reality.
Key Responsibilities Include
Participation with in-house project development team requiring independent judgment in design, building systems, documentation, and construction. Review of Amenity design concepts & ideas Review of Unit design and material selections Ensure project designs conform with NWR standards Assist in communicating and directing architectural and engineering consultants as well as 3rd party specialty waterproofing, sound, and accessibility consultants Assist in coordinating owner redlines on all the CD milestone sets with outside A/E firms Process submittals/substitution requests and address RFI’s during construction Resolve complex technical and design issues with construction team Conduct on-site construction walks, review mock-ups to ensure quality and conforms with plans Ability to travel in SE as necessary to the various NWR projects & construction sites. Contribute to office initiatives and internal learning programs to bring creative and innovative ideas that would add value to project designs to enhance tenant experience on our properties. OPS AP invoice audit daily as needed
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture 4-8 years of professional experience in multifamily and mixed-use development Strong design sensibility and deep understanding of construction documents and processes Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, AutoCAD or Revit, Procore, and Microsoft Office Suite Confidence working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
