Position: Cost Controller
Location:
3 days in person in Baltimore, remote rest of the time. Responsibilities
Perform Cost Control activities related to Budget, Actual Cost, Commitments, Forecasting, ETC/EAC, and Budget Changes. Manage and ensure accuracy of package and project level budgets, contingencies, and related changes. Manage and ensure accuracy of actual costs and accruals monthly. Manage and ensure accuracy of monthly forecasts. Analyze cost data to identify trends and potential impacts. Collaborate with the Scheduling team to measure and analyze package progress and forecasts. Support Change Management by collecting and analyzing cost impacts of potential changes. Work with Estimating to ensure all cost impacts are captured. Identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate financial risks in coordination with the risk management team. Review contractor invoices for compliance with contracts, expenses, and rates. Assist the Commercial Manager and Contract Admins with contract impacts, invoice reviews, and accrual validation. Maintain the cost control system and follow procedures. Support various teams in collecting and reporting on budgets, commitments, actuals, and forecast costs. Qualifications
Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or relevant discipline, or equivalent combination of education and training. Additional Details
