We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Corporate Controller to lead the accounting and financial reporting functions for our private equity-backed manufacturing company. This role is critical in driving financial discipline, operational efficiency, and compliance as the company scales. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in manufacturing finance, private equity reporting, and a deep understanding of cost accounting and operational metrics. Key Responsibilities : Lead the accounting function, including general ledger, cost accounting, inventory, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP. Develop and maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with private equity reporting requirements. Partner with operations to analyze manufacturing performance, standard costs, variances, and inventory valuation. Prepare and present financial reports, KPIs, and dashboards to executive leadership and private equity sponsors. Manage external audits and coordinate with tax advisors, legal counsel, and other third-party service providers. Support M&A activity, including due diligence, integration, and purchase accounting. Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and reporting tools (e.g., ERP upgrades or implementations). Build and mentor a high-performing accounting team aligned with the company’s growth trajectory. Physical Demands : Sitting for extended periods while using a computer and phone. Manual dexterity includes frequent use of hands for typing, handling documents, and operating ofϐice equipment. Must have the ability to read detailed information on screens and documents and hear conversations over the phone and in-person. Work Environment: This role is typically performed in an ofϐice setting, with occasional travel to attend events, meet with clients, or collaborate with other departments.
