Review, oversee, and correct technical reports, drawings, specifications, and models prepared by consultants. Manage projects through their numerous study stages and execution. Monitor, manage, and report all relevant project performance indicators to meet business requirements. Obtain approvals from both internal and external stakeholders to move the project through various development stages, implementation, and handover.
Telecommuting permitted up to 50%.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.
Minimum Requirements
Must have a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience.
Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following
Designing, specifying, or operating large industrial or mining water and slurry transport and processing systems including pumps, valves, pipelines, and hydrocyclones; Program management, including cost forecasting, status reporting, business improvement actions, management of consultant contracts, risk management, and change management; Corporate project governance including preparation of project funding justifications, cost and schedule status reporting, contract procurement, and consultant invoicing and payment approvals; Management of heavy industrial engineering studies and projects; Preparing written reports and using computer system applications such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and MS Project; Manage project stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Telecommuting permitted up to 50%.
Domestic travel required up to 5%; International travel required up to 5%.
