Contracts Manager . As a Federal Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the full contract lifecycle for government and commercial agreements. This includes evaluating contract compliance with requirements and regulations, maintaining communication to ensure timely execution, and analyzing contract documents. You will provide crucial guidance and support for key operations such as proposal preparation, negotiation of terms, and contract maintenance, while strictly upholding legal and regulatory requirements, organizational protocols, and industry benchmarks. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Overseeing and managing the full contract lifecycle for federal contracts, including proposal preparation, contract negotiation, execution, modification, and closeout. Ensure all contracts comply with federal regulations, company policies, and contractual requirements. Managing and monitoring contractual obligations under GSA Schedules and GWACs, ensuring accurate reporting, adherence to contract terms, timely modifications, and compliance with applicable policies and ordering procedures. Ensuring adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other applicable regulations. Identify and mitigate risks associated with contractual obligations, performance, and compliance. Leading negotiation and administration of the organization’s contracts—ensuring alignment of contract negotiation strategies with the overall business strategy and objectives. Collaborating with business development, finance, legal, and operations teams to support contract strategy development, proposal preparation, and submission. Provide strategic input on contractual approaches, terms, and conditions to maximize profitability and competitive advantage. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for contracts management. Streamline contract processes to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance overall performance. Oversee the review, approval, and execution of all contracts, modifications, and agreements to ensure compliance and alignment with company objectives and policies. Preparing and executing all Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, and sub-contracts with teaming partners. Evaluating potential or actual Organizational Conflict of Interest issues and drafting Mitigation Plans as necessary. Coordinating contract closeout requirements. Supporting internal / external audit activities as well as data requests from internal / external customers (e.g., annual GSA Assessment). REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 4–6 years of progressive experience in federal contract administration, negotiation, and compliance. Thorough understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS), and other federal procurement laws and guidelines. Demonstrated ability to manage the full lifecycle of federal contracts, including NDAs, teaming agreements, subcontracts, modifications, and closeouts. Experience with multiple contract types, including Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Time & Materials (T&M), and Cost-Reimbursement contracts. Proven ability to interpret complex solicitation requirements, draft clear contract language, and advise on risk and compliance implications. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the company’s interests during discussions with government and industry partners Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a consistent track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities simultaneously Familiarity with Small Business regulations, including SBA guidelines and small business subcontracting plans, is preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business development, legal, finance, and program teams Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel; experience with contract management systems or SharePoint is a plus Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, while also contributing to cross-functional team efforts Knowledge of cost principles and accounting standards (e.g., CAS, TINA) is beneficial but not required EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Government Contracting, Accounting, Finance, Legal Studies, Public Administration or a related field. Preferred:

Advanced degree (Master’s or JD) or professional certifications (CPCM, CFCM) are preferred. Professional certifications from the National Contract Management Association (NCMA), such as: Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM). DAWIA certification (Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act) in Contracting (especially for DoD-focused roles). Familiarity with GSA schedules, OASIS, and other IDIQ vehicles through formal or on-the-job training required.
