Software Developer – Level II

Description Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is seeking a back end/full stack Software Developer to create applications for the US Government. The tech stack includes Angular, NodeJS, Ngnix, with backend components such as SqlAlchemy, Flask, Celery using Python, interfacing with PostgreSQL. These applications support the Security Operations Center and analysts to improve network security. Development follows an Agile methodology with two-week sprints. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Coding primarily in Python API Design Coding in Cloud Products, mainly Azure Integrating with third-party products Maintaining PostgreSQL databases Developing features and fixing bugs across multiple applications Modernizing legacy code for reusability and easier development Why Work for ISS? Requirements Secret Clearance Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) Certifications: IAT Level II (e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+, Security+ CE, CND) At least 3 years of software development experience Desired Skills Expertise in Python coding Seniority level
