Location:
Deerfield, IL or OPO (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week; minimum 1 day in Deerfield required)
Duration & Type:
Typically 3-4 month Contract-to-Hire (Must be eligible to convert without visa sponsorship)
Compensation:
Competitive W2 Hourly Rate ($52-$69, dependent on level and experience), Access to Healthcare and Dental Insurance Plan of Choice. (Benefit Plans can be requested at time of submission to client)
Summary
Chamberlain Advisors is proactively building a pipeline of Fullstack Software Engineers (Mid-Level, Senior, and Lead) to support upcoming digital transformation initiatives for a Fortune 100 client in the healthcare and retail pharmacy sector. While these roles are not immediately open, we are preparing for forecasted hiring needs and encourage qualified candidates to express interest now to be considered as positions become available. These roles will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of scalable software solutions, automation tools, and data-driven applications. Ideal candidates will bring strong experience across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and post-release support. Project focus areas may include enterprise system modernization, automation enablement, mobile integration, and database optimization. We are accepting qualified candidates now to support anticipated hiring needs in Q2 & Q3.
What You’ll Be Accountable For
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Java 17, Spring Boot 3, ReactJS, NodeJS, and Azure. Modify and maintain databases, writing logical and physical descriptions and ensuring system compatibility. Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to define project scope, requirements, and limitations. Automate repetitive workflows to optimize development team capacity and eliminate manual tasks. Ensure code quality through peer reviews, adherence to industry standards, and regular testing/debugging. Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives. (Lead/Sr. Level) Mentor junior developers and help establish coding guidelines and best practices. (Lead Level) Approve architecture decisions, oversee software security protocols, and manage project scoping/timelines.
What Qualifications You Need
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Experience levels: Mid-Level: 3–6 years Senior: 7–10 years Lead: 11–15 years Proficient in Java 17, Spring Boot 3, NodeJS, ReactJS Experience working with Azure Cloud, NoSQL/SQL databases, and RESTful APIs Familiarity with scripting languages such as PHP, Python, or Visual Basic Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities (Preferred) Experience with Microsoft collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, Graph API) (Lead/Sr. Preferred) Prior experience in mentorship, architecture planning, and software security
