LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit organization to find a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant for a 6-month contract opportunity. This hybrid role offers the best of both worlds—3 days onsite and 2 days remote—and is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment. Responsibilities: Support month-end and year-end close processes Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls Maintain general ledger and support budgeting activities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data Qualifications: 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a nonprofit setting Proficiency in SAP is required Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Pay is $40hr-$45hr Don’t wait to apply today!
