The role involves providing advanced neonatal care in various locations including Fairview Hospital, Main Campus, and Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital. New graduates are welcome to apply. Job Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans. Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare team members. Perform routine and specialized procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, biopsies, and blood draws. Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive care. Participate in medical rounds, discharge planning, and quality monitoring. Serve as a clinical preceptor and faculty for onboarding new staff if applicable. Take on call duties and work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Education and Certifications:
MSN or equivalent for APRN; graduate of an accredited ARPN program. Current RN and APRN licensure, with national certification recognized by the state. BLS and NRP certifications, with ACLS/PALS as required by the setting. Competencies:
Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with advanced assessment and diagnosis. Work Experience:
Preferred two years of clinical practice as an APRN or Physician Assistant. Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical examinations. Additional Details:
