We’re looking for a Linux specialist with skills in Linux FIPS mode, full disk encryption using LUKS, TANG, Clevis, VMWare, and Active Directory. Job Number: R0221928 As a Linux system administrator, you’ll ensure hardware, OS, software, and procedures adhere to policies, perform security scans, resolve vulnerabilities, and harden Linux and Windows systems. You’ll install and configure routers, firewalls, switches, and manage network security. Monitoring and performance management will be key to identifying issues and improvements in a mission-critical network, with your communication skills helping translate metrics into insights. This role offers experience in a secure environment, emphasizing teamwork, technique sharing, and methodology development to support warfighter survivability. You Have: Experience with Linux FIPS mode Experience with full disk encryption (LUKS, Tang, Clevis) Creating patch repositories and quarterly updates Bash scripting, user profiles, secure login policies Active Directory authentication (SSSD, Realm, Samba) Mounting NTFS and NFS drives VMware virtualization, Horizon View, VCenter, AD management Knowledge of STIG, ACAS, OpenSCAP, STIG viewer TS/SCI clearance HS diploma or GED + 5+ years or Associate's + 2+ years in systems administration Nice If You Have: Experience with Red Hat Rocky, Ubuntu, real-time OS like Redhawk or Red Hat RT CUDA and GPU installations Bachelor's degree DoD 8140/8570 IAT certifications (Network+ or Security+) Certifications like RHEL, RHSA, Linux+, LPIC Clearance:

TS/SCI clearance required, with a security investigation. Compensation:

Salary ranges from $61,900 to $141,000 annually, based on experience, location, and organizational factors. The posting closes in 90 days. Work Model:
