WHAT WILL YOU DO EVERY DAY AS A DESIGNER - SPACE PLANNER?

As a Designer - Space Planner, you will collaborate with sales representatives and clients to gather project requirements, set timelines, and develop budgets. Your role involves creating innovative design concepts and comprehensive space plans that meet client needs while adhering to building codes and ADA requirements. You'll use AutoCAD and CET to produce detailed furniture plans, 3D renderings, and elevations. Additionally, you'll generate precise furniture specifications with 2020 Cap Technologies, develop cohesive color schemes and material selections, and prepare installation plans. Staying updated on contract office furniture lines and systems furniture is essential for selecting architectural finishes and assisting with furniture inventories as needed.

WHEN WILL YOU WORK?

As our Designer - Space Planner, you will work a first shift schedule.

SOME QUALIFICATIONS YOU NEED TO BE OUR DESIGNER - SPACE PLANNER?

Bachelor's Degree in design, or relevant work experience Proficiency with AutoCAD, Cap 2020 CET proficiency required Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Photoshop Physical ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs Strong oral, presentation, written, listening, and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and scheduling skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work well with people, action-oriented, and not intimidated by deadlines, vendors, or customers Ability to interpret communicated customer needs and project requirements into competent design solutions NCIDQ Certification is preferred
