We need you as a Data Center Critical Environment Technician Manager. Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a CO+I CE Technician Manager, you will play a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services, including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform.

Responsibilities
People Management
Lead through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring. Live our culture and embody our values. Define team objectives, enable success, and foster adaptability. Attract, retain, and invest in team members’ growth and aspirations. Equipment and Systems Operations
Serve as an operations specialist in areas such as electrical, mechanical, controls, or generators, handling advanced tasks independently. Oversee and coach team members in inspecting critical environment-related equipment and facilities for unsafe or abnormal conditions. Monitor performance using telemetry and control systems, and identify alarms. Utilize CMMS to track assets, manage work orders, and generate reports. Respond swiftly to incidents, lead onsite response teams, and develop emergency procedures. Equipment and Systems Maintenance
Guide and perform maintenance and repairs following SOPs and MOPs across disciplines. Act as a subject matter expert and troubleshoot equipment independently. Coordinate with third-party vendors and contractors, ensuring safe and compliant work execution. Critical Environment Culture
Ensure safety and security standards are followed and coached to the team. Maintain safe working conditions and escalate unsafe situations. Support environmental health and safety objectives with appropriate resources. Participate in meetings, training, and handoffs. Embodies our culture and values.
