The software QA team at eero seeks an experienced quality assurance manager to lead and expand the team responsible for validating the quality, performance, and stability of eero's software. This involves full-stack testing across physical, feature, and WiFi performance layers. The team’s insights guide product development and roadmap prioritization, working closely with hardware, connectivity, and TPM teams. The manager will balance automation and manual testing efforts, aiming to improve product quality and development speed. As a small, agile team, you will have a broad scope of responsibilities including planning hardware programs, reproducing high-priority bugs, grooming the backlog, stakeholder communication, and testing. The role is based in Los Gatos, California. Key job responsibilities
Ensure eero ships performant and stable networking products that delight customers. Monitor, facilitate, and support individual growth within your team. Prioritize requests and deliver validation within tight timelines. Build relationships with external partners and internal teams. Develop detailed schedules and technical requirements from high-level descriptions. Communicate project status clearly to diverse audiences, including executives. Estimate delivery timelines based on team velocity and workload. Champion automation initiatives for high-impact testing. Implement process improvements for your team and related groups. Provide technical leadership and hands-on testing expertise. Analyze testing and production data to identify regressions and validate features. Manage team budget, headcount, recruiting, and performance evaluations. About The Team

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 8+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years of hands-on testing and 3+ years as a QA manager. Experience in automation and manual testing management. Experience in consumer electronics and distributed systems testing. Knowledge of QA methodologies. Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on expertise in WiFi testing from the physical layer upwards. Experience automating heterogeneous client applications and embedded systems. Passion for mentoring and developing team members. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Experience collaborating with development and business teams. Ability to analyze field data statistically and build models. Strong organizational skills for managing multiple test projects.
