Must Haves: Bachelor’s degree – Mechanical/electrical Engineering + 3 years’ experience OR 5+ Years in HVAC/MEP 5+ Years Design/Build Construction or Preconstruction Experience Looking for someone who can do a conceptual design and budget to a turnkey Problem Solver: Identifying and resolving project related issues to ensure smooth execution. 5+ years in Account Management Plusses: Project management experience or project close out/commissioning experience Candidate could be someone working within service management or an assistant service manager Responsibilities: A client of Insight Global is expanding into a new market area and seeking a seasoned General Manager with expertise in HVAC/MEP to lead the charge. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with deep experience in sales and operations, ready to establish and grow a startup business unit, focused on mechanical contracting and maintenance services across high-profile facilities. Day-to-day: Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for new territory expansion. Identify and qualify business opportunities in St. Louis area, across office buildings, hospitals, universities, telecom, schools, warehouses, manufacturing, and industrial facilities. Build and lead a sales and service team aligned with EMCOR’S standards of excellence. Making sales contacts, researching customer needs and follow-up on leads to revenue growth. Oversee operational workflows, including scheduling, dispatch, and quality control. Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and technical standards. Team Leadership: Builds, lead and manage project teams effectively. Documentation: respond to RFQ’s (request of quotations) in a timely manner. Recruiting and retaining technicians Seniority level
