As the lead

DevOps Engineer

at Glidance, you will design and implement the cloud infrastructure and ML pipelines that power our intelligent robotics systems. Youll enable rapid development, deployment, and scaling of services that integrate perception, control, and AI into real-time robotic experiences. You will collaborate closely with robotics and AI engineers to build systems that are robust, scalable, and secure. This is a hands-on technical role for someone who thrives in a

fast-moving startup environment

and is passionate about building world-class infrastructure for products with direct human impact. Design, build, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure to support our robotics and AI workloads. Develop CI/CD pipelines for software and firmware across robotics, cloud, and edge systems. Manage containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes) for AI inference, simulation, and backend services. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for mission-critical systems in development and production. Collaborate with robotics and AI teams to deploy and optimize ML models in production. Manage secrets, authentication, and security best practices in cloud environments. Help automate the testing and release process across hardware-in-the-loop and cloud systems. Qualifications

5+ years' experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles. Deep experience with AWS services: EC2, S3, ECS/EKS, IAM, CloudFormation/Terraform, etc. Strong experience with Docker and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, ECS). Experience deploying and maintaining machine learning pipelines (e.g., with SageMaker, MLflow, or custom). Solid programming/scripting in Python, Bash, or similar. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or CircleCI. Passion for reliability, automation, observability, and scalable system design. (Bonus) Experience supporting ROS 2, simulation environments, or robotics-specific build pipelines. (Bonus) Experience working with edge devices and OTA update infrastructure. Why Join Glidance?
