at Dollar Tree are responsible for: Managing the profitable operation of a retail store with emphasis on recruiting, hiring, training, and developing store associates in both operations and merchandising. Performing all opening and closing procedures. Implementing operational and merchandising directives from the Store Support Center. Maintaining high standards of merchandising, signage, and displays to create an inviting atmosphere for customers. Maximizing your store's profit contribution. Protecting company assets. Providing excellent customer service. Creative problem solving in areas such as associate development, sales maximization, expense control, merchandise display, and signage placement. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of retail management experience. Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience is a plus. Strong productivity management skills in freight processing. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills. Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
