Epic Optime Systems Analyst
to join our Healthcare IT team. This role is key to optimizing surgical and clinical workflows through the Epic platform. You will work closely with clinical, technical, and business stakeholders to analyze requirements, design system solutions, and implement and maintain Epic Optime functionality to support operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with clinicians and business teams to gather and document system requirements. Design, build, configure, and test Epic Optime modules to support surgical and inpatient workflows. Troubleshoot post-implementation issues and refine system builds based on user feedback. Develop scalable, creative solutions that align with healthcare delivery needs. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and rollout of system enhancements. Provide high-quality customer service and clear, consistent communication to stakeholders. Required Qualifications: Epic Optime Certification
(must be current). At least
3 years of experience
with Epic application support, especially in surgical or clinical settings. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on application design and optimization. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Deep understanding of
inpatient clinical workflows
in hospital or surgical environments. Technical knowledge including: UNIX shell scripting
using Korn shell and C. Fault-tolerant, reusable batch processing design. Experience with
Connect Direct, XCOM, and FTP
for file transfers. TCP/IP networking and secure connection setup (including frame relay and Internet-based). AutoSys
for job scheduling and automation. Familiarity with
SAP R/3 , SAP adapter internals, AWK, SED, SQL, and mainframe security (e.g., ACF2). Experience Level:
6–10 years Technical Skill Set:
UNIX, AutoSys, FTP, Batch Processing, SAP, SQL Preferred Qualifications: Additional Epic certifications (e.g.,
Anesthesia ). Direct build experience with related Epic modules. Experience supporting
large-scale go-lives
or optimization projects in clinical environments. Top 3 Skillsets: Current
Epic certification
and hands-on build/configuration experience. Solid understanding of
clinical and surgical workflows . Strong communication and
customer service orientation . Compensation: Hourly Rate:
