Fintech Meetup’s groundbreaking event format combines fintech’s largest ever meetings program, an unprecedented network of co-located events as well as fresh approaches to content and speakers. Fintech Meetup is the best value for money, highest ROI fintech event in the industry ABOUT THE ROLE The Head of Content is responsible for leading the strategic development, management, and world-class execution of the Fintech Meetup USA agenda. This includes setting the annual themes, curating a compelling and cutting-edge agenda, securing over 200+ high-caliber speakers, and overseeing the successful on-site delivery of all content sessions. This role also manages Fintech Meetup’s sponsored content portfolio - including format innovation, sponsor collaboration, and onsite activation - in close partnership with commercial teams. You will lead a small but high-performing content team and play a visible, outward-facing role with industry stakeholders, partners, and media to ensure the event agenda remains the most relevant and respected in the fintech, payments, banking, and broader financial services industries. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead research and development of Fintech Meetup’s annual content strategy and agenda across fintech, payments, banking, lending, and financial services. Identify key themes and innovate session formats to drive engagement and learning. Speaker Acquisition & Management Drive recruitment of 200+ speakers, including C-level execs and thought leaders. Lead keynote speaker outreach and manage relationships with media, associations, and PR. Oversee speaker communications from outreach through confirmation. Sponsored Content Strategy & Delivery Collaborate with Sales to develop and execute sponsored content opportunities. Ensure sponsor sessions align with overall content strategy and quality standards. Onsite Content Execution Oversee delivery of 50+ sessions and 250+ speakers onsite. Ensure a seamless experience for speakers and sponsors in partnership with logistics and production. Manage and develop conference production team members. Foster a high-performing and collaborative team culture. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Logistics for smooth execution. Work closely with Marketing on speaker promotion and content-driven campaigns. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus. 5+ years of experience in senior-level content, conference production, or editorial leadership, ideally within fintech, banking, payments, or financial services. Strong understanding of sponsored and sales-driven content. Exceptional stakeholder and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage and secure senior executives and thought leaders. Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills, with an editorial mindset. Highly organized with strong project management and multitasking abilities. Commercially savvy with experience in event-based revenue models. Passion for financial services, fintech, and emerging technologies. Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and adapts easily to change. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The salary band for this position ranges from $115,000 - $120,000 based on experience This position will be eligible for a competitive bonus structure Full medical, dental, vision package to fit your needs Retirement plan with company match (401K) Competitive vacation policy Hybrid Work Seniority level
