As the Clinical Program Manager at the Center for Cancer Care, this position has responsibility for supervising clinical navigators, social work and genetic counseling staff in the Center for Cancer Care. The position has shared responsibility, with Tumor Registry Manager, for maintaining accreditation with the Commission on Cancer (CoC), National Accreditation Program for Breast Cancers (NAPBC), and National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC). Accreditation activities will be accomplished through close collaboration with Hospital administration, particularly the Senior Vice President, Organizational Performance and Assistant Vice President for Regulatory, clinical leaders in the Center for Cancer Care as well as other staff with roles and responsibilities related to accreditation activities. This role is responsible to stay abreast of new accreditation programs and pursue accordingly. This position is also responsible, in collaboration with physician and nursing leadership, for assessing, designing, planning and executing educational programs to meet the needs of Center for Cancer Care clinicians as well as wider audiences. In addition, this role is responsible for ensuring the required reporting for existing Center for Cancer Care grants and pursuing new grant opportunities; in conjunction with staff from the WPH Foundation. RN or other health care professional license in NY State required

Essential Functions And Responsibilities Includes The Following

Supervise clinical navigators, social work and genetic counseling staff in the Center for Cancer Care. Assume shared responsibility, with the Tumor Registry Manager, for the re-accreditation of the Cancer Program with CoC, NAPBC, and NAPRC. Ensure adherence to all standards associated with each program. Work closely with the Hospital’s Regulatory Department to ensure regular communication and coordination as required. Collaborate and coordinate with the Tumor Registry Manager all Cancer Committee meetings and reporting. Assess, design, and implement appropriate Continuing Medical Education programs (target 4 per year) for clinicians both in conjunction with Montefiore Medical Center and independently. Work collaboratively with Foundation staff to identify, apply and manage grant programs to support key programs offered by the Center for Cancer Care. Provide leadership and participate in cancer program event planning related to fundraising, survivorship, and community outreach. Understand and adhere to the WPH Performance Standards, Policies and Behaviors Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements

5 to 10 years of progressive administrative experience, including specific clinical experience in oncology. RN or other health care professional license in NY State required Master’s or advanced degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or Business Administration or related field preferred.

Salary range: $148,039.13 to $222,080.43 (Based on full time hours)
