What The Role Is Clearway is looking to hire a Cybersecurity Engineer with an analytical mind and a detailed understanding of IT and cybersecurity methodologies, tools, and processes. Cybersecurity Engineers are expected to have meticulous attention to detail, outstanding problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure, and deliver on tight deadlines. To ensure success, a Cybersecurity Engineer must display an excellent understanding of technology infrastructures including network security, application security, cloud, endpoint, CASB, & detection and response systems. Top candidates will be comfortable working independently and with a team on a variety of technologies, security challenges, and event triage. What You'll Be Doing Maintain, manage, and update the cybersecurity tool suite to meet Clearway Cybersecurity's roadmap, goals, and objectives. Ensure that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls. Active and passive threat hunting; assessment of current and future tools to ensure robust capabilities. Monitor security platforms for anomalies and/or breaches within the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networks; investigate root causes & assist with the development of remediations. Assist with troubleshooting security, application, and network problems. Respond to all system and/or network security breaches and incidents; document findings. Participate in change management processes. Test, identify, and mitigate network, application, and system vulnerabilities. Participate in Penetration Test exercises. Perform daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with relevant departments. Collaborate with external partners for cybersecurity assessments, audits, and documentation reviews. Abide by cybersecurity policies, procedures, baselines, and standards. What You'll Bring 4-year degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering; or comparable work experience. A high school diploma is minimally required. 6+ years of experience with managing IT systems. 4+ years of experience with security standards, protocols, and technologies. Experience with administration and engineering of servers, applications, cloud, endpoints, network, and security appliances. Experience with zero trust solutions and hardening solutions at an enterprise scale. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work independently and in teams. Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and exercise judgment. Ability to assess and improve security and networking technologies. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities. Awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques. Ability to create and update documentation. What Would Be Nice Experience in a SOC environment. Penetration Testing, Red and Blue team experience. Experience with incident detection, response, and forensics. Experience with risk assessment, policy creation, and threat frameworks. Security or network certifications. Note:
