The following statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all work requirements, which may be inherent in the position. Provides professional care to patients presenting with a broad variety of medical or surgical complaints, ranging from non-urgent to emergent, within the scope of a certified registered nurse practitioner or doctorate-prepared nurse practitioner. Qualifications
Education / Licensure / Certification: Graduate of an approved school of nursing. Must have a current registered nurse license in the State of Alabama, with designation: CRNP or DNP. Graduate of an approved program for Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Doctorate of Nurse Practitioner. Possesses skills needed for functioning effectively as an emergency department healthcare provider. Maintain collaboration requirements per hospital bylaws and Alabama Board of Nursing. Current certification in ACLS and PALS. About Us
