An opportunity with a diversified, Tech-Led Firm in Chicago trading on major financial markets around the world. This role includes developing Python based research tools, identifying new trading opportunities and help build a state-of-the-art Research & Data Delivery Platforms.
Here's a little bit of what they're looking for:
Develop, maintain, and support a Data Delivery & Research Platform. Design and architect distributed data systems. Test code and actively participate in code reviews. Leverage AWS services for logging, monitoring, data storage, etc. Troubleshoot time-sensitive production issues.
Target base salary for this role is $150K based on varying factors.
This role is eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits including:
Health Dental Vision insurance 401(k) contributions Generous PTO, etc.
Qualifications:
3+ years development experience with Python. 3+ years of experience with SQL databases. 2+ years of experience developing distributed systems. 2+ years of experience with AWS development. Strong verbal and written communications. Professional experience with financial reference data and/or building a Security Master. Professional experience with traditional financial tools (e.g. FactSet, Bloomberg, etc.). Professional experience with Linux operating systems.
