~ up to 50% to client sites The SAP OCM Director will lead and oversee organizational change management (OCM) initiatives related to the implementation, optimization, and transition to SAP solutions in the public cloud environment. This director-level role will involve developing and executing change management strategies to support the adoption of SAP solutions, specifically focusing on SAP S/4HANA Cloud and other SAP cloud offerings. The SAP OCM Director will work closely with senior leadership, SAP implementation teams, and business units to ensure that organizational change is managed effectively, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum user adoption during the transition to cloud-based SAP solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development of an organizational change management strategy focused on SAP S/4HANA Cloud and other SAP public cloud implementations. Collaborate with business stakeholders, senior leadership, and functional teams to ensure alignment of OCM activities with business objectives and cloud transformation goals. Define OCM goals and KPIs for the cloud transition, ensuring that change is managed effectively, and the desired outcomes are achieved. Change Management Framework:
Develop a tailored OCM approach for SAP public cloud initiatives, considering the unique challenges of cloud-based systems, including remote work, system access, and data security. Design and implement cloud-specific OCM methodologies that support the entire lifecycle of cloud adoption, including pre-deployment, go-live, and post-go-live phases. Ensure the framework is scalable, adaptable, and integrates with the broader enterprise transformation strategy.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
Act as the key change management liaison between SAP implementation teams, cloud migration teams, and business units, ensuring clear communication and buy-in from all levels of the organization. Develop and implement a communications strategy to promote cloud adoption, ensuring stakeholders are well-informed and prepared for upcoming changes. Provide ongoing support to executives and managers to help them lead and manage change within their respective teams.
Training and Adoption Support:
Oversee the development and execution of cloud-specific training programs and materials to equip employees with the skills needed for SAP cloud solutions. Ensure that employees are fully supported through the cloud transition, providing resources and addressing resistance to ensure smooth adoption. Coordinate training schedules, evaluate training effectiveness, and adjust programs based on feedback from users.
Public Cloud-Specific Risk and Impact Management:
Identify potential risks and resistance specific to the transition to SAP public cloud solutions and develop strategies to mitigate those challenges. Conduct impact assessments to evaluate how the cloud transition affects business processes, systems, employees, and organizational culture. Develop and implement strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new cloud-based processes and tools across the organization.
Collaboration with SAP Cloud Implementation Teams:
Work closely with SAP cloud consultants, cloud migration experts, and technical teams to integrate change management activities into the SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation plan. Ensure that OCM activities align with the project’s timeline, scope, and objectives to drive successful adoption and minimize disruption during go-live.
Metrics, Measurement & Continuous Improvement:
Develop and track KPIs for cloud adoption, user engagement, and overall success of the change management strategy. Collect feedback from end-users, business units, and stakeholders to continuously refine the OCM approach and improve cloud implementation outcomes. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on OCM progress and metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead and mentor a team of change management professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure successful delivery of OCM activities. Foster a collaborative team environment focused on achieving cloud adoption goals while continuously improving OCM capabilities. Build a culture of change management excellence, driving innovation and best practices within the OCM team.
Qualifications: Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred. Experience:
10+ years of experience in change management, with significant exposure to SAP implementations, particularly in public cloud environments (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba). Proven experience in managing large-scale cloud transformations, preferably in SAP cloud ecosystems. Extensive experience leading OCM activities for ERP implementations in cloud environments.
Certifications:
Certification in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is highly desirable. SAP certifications or training in SAP cloud solutions is a plus.
Technical Expertise:
Strong understanding of SAP public cloud solutions, including SAP S/4HANA Cloud and related cloud-based applications. Familiarity with cloud migration processes, including integration challenges, system deployment, and ongoing support.
Skills:
Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at all levels. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to develop and execute training programs, workshops, and user adoption strategies for cloud solutions.
