Corporate Counsel

to join our dynamic Legal Team. In this influential role, you’ll lead contract negotiations, manage litigation strategy, and advise on a wide range of legal matters that shape the company’s operations. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Deputy CLO, and General Counsel, you’ll collaborate across departments to align legal strategy with business goals—making a measurable impact in a fast-paced, global environment. What You Will Do: Negotiate, prepare, and review sales and procurement contracts. Work closely with the Deputy CLO and the Assistant General Counsel for each business/function to develop contracting strategy to achieve the company’s goals. Work directly with Procurement and Sales teams to understand contract needs, goals, and risks involved. Develop metrics to demonstrate performance of the Contracts team to ensure efficiency and identify improvement opportunities, providing necessary reports to the Deputy CLO. Direct strategy for certain litigation matters and other disputes to which the company is a party. Maintain responsibility for U.S. litigation discovery process, managing written discovery, document review, and production, and overseeing electronic discovery procedures. Oversee and direct the company’s response to all subpoenas. Manage outside counsel to ensure implementation of strategy and monitor the progress of litigation matters. Skills That Make a Difference: 8+ years as a lawyer at a corporate law firm or in-house corporate legal department, demonstrating a broad array of experience in matters affecting a large and diversified company. Experience drafting and negotiating contracts and successfully handling litigation matters. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and Juris Doctorate are required. Candidate must be licensed to practice law in at least one state. Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment to ensure that the company's contracts and litigation are managed in a timely and efficient manner that is consistent with the company's strategic goals. Candidate must be flexible and able to work with multiple internal/external attorneys, sales professionals, and procurement professionals in multiple practice areas. Fluent in oral and written English, and skillful in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). Self-starter with highly effective organizational skills and ability to handle confidential matters. Must be open and able to travel as needed to serve the company’s interests.
