Job Description

Purpose

Oversee a team working closely with security management to define the business, financial, and operational requirements for both new and existing security systems. Collaborate on the planning, design, development, and deployment of security systems, while also enhancing current systems. Identify ways to leverage existing systems to meet new requirements and improve business processes, operations, and information flow. Address and resolve issues related to existing systems to ensure they function optimally. Lead the development and continuous updating of the business-related IT strategy across multiple functions. Proactively identify opportunities to apply technology solutions for new security business prospects, process improvements, and cost efficiencies. Serve as a trusted advisor to the business.

Responsibilities

Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures concerning security systems. Strategy Development: Align security system strategies with the corporation's vision, goals, and strategies. Champion Innovation: Promote change and innovation in security systems and encourage creative ideas from others. Security Requirements Diagnosis: Assess strategic security needs for initiatives and programs and offer guidance on effective system utilization. Business Process Understanding: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of business processes across multiple security functions, applying leadership and management skills. Alternative Delivery Mechanisms: Identify and evaluate alternative methods for delivering security solutions, applying industry best practices. Resource Management: Ensure resources are available to meet long-term operational demands related to security systems. Policy Participation: Participate in policy setting and recognize the impact of regulations on the organization's use of security technologies. Accountability and Relationship Building: Maintain accountability for decisions and actions while fostering strong relationships within the company and with external partners. Project Leadership: Lead security integration projects from start to finish, coordinating with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery. Establishes and maintains high-quality relationships with all levels across the company and with external partners/suppliers regarding security systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in business information systems, or a discipline closely related to the client area served. Bachelor's Degree with 9 years’ of experience; Master's Degree with 8 years’ experience; PhD with 4 years’ experience Project Management experience. Business and process experience. 1-2 years supervisory and employee development experience. 2-3 years strategic IT planning experience. Able to explain and present complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels up to the highest in a persuasive and convincing manner. Broad and deep IT knowledge coupled with equivalent knowledge of the processes and activities of the business. Able to understand and communicate the potential impact of emerging technologies on organizations and individuals and can analyze the risks of using or not using such technologies.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick), medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees. This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. This job is eligible to participate in our long-term incentive programs
