The Visual Lead is responsible for achieving store sales & maximizing profitability through Visual Merchandising in partnership with the Visual Manager. The Visual Lead will work closely with the Operations & Visual Manager in initiating, delegating work, and providing feedback to the team to achieve optimal results supporting total store operations. Key Responsibilities
Manage execution of operational functions including shipment, receiving, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra-day replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management. Maintain strategic product presentation and merchandising, ensuring product recovery, restock, destock, and visual merchandising changes in line with directives and in partnership with the Visual Manager. Plan visual floor changes with the management team, considering payroll and adapting visual support to business needs. Execute and maintain visual direction from planning through to execution, meeting company expectations, budgets, and timelines. Use reporting tools with management to identify business opportunities with product placement, outfitting, and stock levels, making necessary adjustments. Business Leadership
Partner with Operations & Visual Manager to manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities. Leverage metrics to support business strategies and move dynamically on the retail floor to meet business, team, and guest needs. People Leadership
Lead by example, inspire staff, and partner with management to coach, guide, and develop team members. Use performance tools to evaluate staff and provide feedback for growth and improvement. Business Partnership
Collaborate with Operations Lead for cross-training and with Sales & Service Lead to ensure business execution. Open and close the store following visual standards. Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in a client-centric, sales environment. Proven leadership and decision-making skills. Receptive to feedback, energetic, and enthusiastic. Self-motivated with results-driven attitude. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Aligns with Alo’s principles. This is a full-time position requiring 32-40 hours per week, with variable shifts including weekends and peak days, and availability during the holiday season from Thanksgiving through early January.
