A travel client based in Woodland Hills is seeking two DevOps Engineers to join their infrastructure and IT operations group. There will be a Senior DevOps Engineer and a Mid-level DevOps Engineer. Both will share responsibilities, with the Senior expected to demonstrate more leadership and require less guidance, while the Mid-level will receive more hands-on support and mentorship.
The role involves supporting a server migration project to a new Azure data center, along with upcoming projects focused on remediation and vulnerability identification. Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, utilizing Ansible for configuration management and automation, and collaborating with development teams to embed DevOps practices into the software lifecycle.
The candidate will also monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security (not necessarily as a security expert), implement CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment processes, and document configurations and processes.
