ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN SALES REP
to join our team. The role involves managing all sales activities from lead generation to closing, targeting both specified and unspecified projects. The successful candidate will develop and execute an approved marketing plan aligned with personal and business objectives. The responsibilities include: Travel within the assigned region to meet with regular and prospective clients, including Architects, Designers, Developers, General Contractors, and National Accounts. Expect 3-5 calls daily, totaling 20-25 weekly. Establish relationships with the Top 25 architectural and design firms. Maintain and organize architectural libraries, replacing outdated samples and updating with new products. Follow up with and report to National Accounts quarterly, including product forecasts and construction schedules. Promote new products during sales calls using samples and presentation tools. Conduct product knowledge seminars (at least 40 annually) for architectural and design firms. Gain in-depth knowledge of Dal-Tile products, installation methods, and allied products through vendor workshops and joint sales calls. Participate in Large Project Tracking Meetings every 4-6 weeks. Report sales opportunities and revenue achievements accurately. Follow all safety regulations and company policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. At least two years of sales or industry experience within the A&D community. Preferred: Floor covering sales or slab experience. Ability to work independently and in teams. Highly organized, with good judgment and initiative. Basic computer skills. Physical requirements include standing, using hands, reaching, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, sitting, climbing, and balancing. Must be able to lift/move up to 80 pounds. Vision requirements include close, peripheral, and focus adjustment. The role involves exposure to mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, temperature variations, and loud noise, with accommodations available for disabilities.
