Responsible for communicating with cross-functional Software development Teams to create processes related to automation to reduce manual work or to build software products and automation tools related to Cloud Computing Engineering.
Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure), tailored to client requirements.
Provide expert-level technical advice and support on cloud architecture, services, operations, hosting, virtual machine computing, storage, database, security, other cloud services and features, account structure, provisioning, raw billing data and formats, and FinOps.
Manage database servers and migrate databases to the cloud, including MySQL, Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, and MongoDB.
Develop cloud migration strategies and roadmaps for on-premise to cloud transitions using AWS Migration Hub and Azure Migrate.
Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies across cloud platforms using AWS Direct Connect and Azure ExpressRoute.
Configure and maintain cloud networking components (VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, VPNs, load balancers, and DNS). Implement LAN/WAN solutions using Cisco and Juniper routers and switches, and manage Web Applications and Secure Web Gateways (SWG) using Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate CI/CD pipelines and monitor infrastructure as code (IaC).
Create high-level and low-level design(HLD/LLD) documents, architectural diagrams, and deployment blueprints.
Deploy and manage enterprise-level storage solutions, including SAN (Storage Area Network), DAS (Direct-Attached Storage), and NAS (Network-Attached Storage).
Build and integrate big data and analytics workloads in the cloud using services like AWS EMR, Azure Cosmo DB, Databricks and Power BI.
Create and validate PaaS and SaaS Cloud service provision via Cloud portal & automate cloud environment using PowerShell scripts.
Optimize performance of distributed applications using auto scaling groups, caching mechanisms (e.g. Redis, Memcached), and CDN services (e.g., CloudFront, Azure CDN).
Responsible for Administer IAM platforms including Active Directory (AD), Azure AD, enforce RBAC and ABAC access controls.
Monitor cloud infrastructure and services using tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog and Integrate cloud services with enterprise monitoring and ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Splunk, or BMC Helix.
Design secure architectures for hybrid and multi-cloud environments including AWS (GuardDuty, IAM, KMS), Azure (Security Center, Defender), and GCP (Security Command Center).
Collaborate with other Microsoft and Amazon Subject Matter Experts to provide and document recommendations for their applications.
Perform cost optimization through rightsizing, autoscaling, and effective usage of cloud-native services.
Qualifications &Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2-3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related fields. Strong expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI. Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and services. Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Strong knowledge of networking and Linux/Unix system administration. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams. DevOps certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate) are a plus. A proactive approach to learning new tools and technologies.
