About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Business Development to play a pivotal role in expanding its commercial presence and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the league. The successful candidate will be tasked with driving revenue through the identification, negotiation, and securing of national sponsorships, partnerships, and brand alliances. This executive leader will also be responsible for overseeing monetization strategies for various initiatives, including content, analytics platforms, and digital media. A key aspect of the role is to enhance media and fan engagement, working closely with the Director of Communications and media partners to develop a unified strategy that increases the league's visibility and supports the promotion of players and the brand.

Applicants for the Vice President of Business Development position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years' experience in sports business development, sponsorship, media rights, or strategic partnerships. A proven track record of revenue growth and brand strategy is essential, as is a strong knowledge of U.S. junior and collegiate hockey.
