Job Description: Position Salary Range: $26.50 Per Hour Essential Duties: Designs and develops specific methodology and materials unique to the program, project, initiative or area of a department/college. Serves as an expert for certain special needs in the area of assignment. Acts as liaison with the community, students, faculty, and staff in facilitating university programs. Provides training and professional development in the related subject matter or methodology. Consults with staff, students and others to provide technical advice, problem solving assistance, answers to questions and program goals and policy interpretation. Reviews and evaluates effectiveness of related methods and work activities. • Designs and conducts related program evaluation activities. Facilitates action for leadership teams and leaders to direct and guide related program, project, initiative or area of a department/college. Develops and facilitates related workshops, conferences, and seminars. • Resolves field related problems through written or verbal correspondence. Reviews and analyzes research data and other literature and makes interpretations for application to related program, project, initiative or area of a department/college. May prepare budget proposals, recommendations, and approvals where appropriate. May supervise, lead, train and monitor the activities of assigned staff. Assists with hiring assigned staff. May monitor or oversee a variety of account expenditures, maintains and reconciles detailed budgets for various accounts, advises and/or determines which expenditures are within the budget guidelines; informs management of irregularities and proceeds with corrective action. Desired Qualifications: Prior experience in correctional facilities or reentry programs. Comfortable discussing sexuality, masculinity, and harmful behaviors with men. Ability to lead structured curriculum on sensitive topics. Work with populations affected by trauma, addiction, or violence. Working Environment: Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse; required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work. Occasional bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds. Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities, which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts. Ability to clearly communicate verbally, read, write, see and hear to perform essential functions.
