Academic Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon
The Department of Orthopaedics in The MetroHealth System is seeking a board eligible/board certified Orthopaedic surgeon with expertise in spine surgery. The MetroHealth System is a premier academic medical center affiliated with Case Western Reserve University. As a major teaching facility, MetroHealth serves as the most experienced Level I Adult Trauma Center for Northeastern Ohio and manages one of the busiest air transport services in the United States. The Orthopaedic residency and fellowship programs are integrated with University Hospitals and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Candidates must have completed or be in the process of completing a fellowship in Orthopaedic Spine Surgery. The position will be within a busy highly developed spine service which is a joint venture between Orthopedic and Neurosurgery within the Neuromuscular Skeletal Service Line. In addition to treating a high volume of complex spine trauma cases, there is also time to develop a busy elective spine practice. Faculty Appointment at Case Western Reserve University, School of Medicine will be commensurate upon experience. Commitment to an academic career and the pursuit of excellence in clinical care are expected.
