OBGYN APP (PA or NP) Ambulatory Office Job Posting Upstate Community Medical, PC is seeking an experienced and motivated Ambulatory Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing OB/GYN ambulatory practice. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered outpatient setting within an Upstate University Hospital’s academic medical center environment.

This full-time ambulatory position focuses on providing comprehensive gynecologic and obstetrical care, including preventive services, problem-focused visits, and antepartum and postpartum care.

Responsibilities

Conduct annual gynecologic exams and preventive women’s health visits

Evaluate and manage problem-focused gynecologic visits

Provide routine and uncomplicated antepartum care in collaboration with OBGYN attending providers

Perform office-based procedures, including but not limited to Nexplanon and IUD placements and removals

Collaborate with OBGYN providers, nursing staff and interdisciplinary team

Educate and counsel patients regarding women’s health, contraception, pregnancy and wellness

Document clinical encounters accurately and efficiently in EPIC

Minimum Qualifications

This full-time position is ideal for a highly motivated NP or PA with an interest in women’s health

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

NYS license

ACLS & BLS required

Current CPR

NCCPA Certification or NP ANCCPrior experience in women’s health is preferred
