The Inflammation Biology group at Gilead Sciences is seeking a highly motivated Scientist to join our collaborative and interdisciplinary research team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting novel target identification and drug development to address clinical unmet need in inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. As a member of cross-functional teams, the candidate will use state-of-the-art technologies and innovative methodologies to develop new therapeutics focused on restoring immune tolerance, including targeted cytokines and tissue resident immune cell function. S/he will have opportunities for career growth in a fast-paced and resource-rich environment. Successful candidates will work within project team-based structure to support advancement of early drug discovery programs. Responsibilities will include: **Basic Qualifications:*** 6+ Years with BS
OR* 4+ Years with MS
OR* 0+ Years with PhD/PharmDPh.D. in immunology, molecular or cell biology, biochemistry, or related field; with 2+ years postdoctoral experience; OR Masters degree with 8-10 years industry experience Strong background in cellular biology and/or immunology, and/or cell signaling. Experience with methods to modulate gene expression (eg CRISPR, lentiviral transduction), and/or knowledge of preclinical models of inflammation and immune function would be preferred.
