We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Vascular Interventional Technologist to assist physicians in performing vascular interventional procedures. The ideal candidate will prioritize patient safety and comfort while utilizing advanced imaging technology to ensure procedural success.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and position patients for procedures, explaining the process clearly
Operate imaging equipment including fluoroscopy, angiography, and ultrasound units
Administer contrast agents and medications as instructed by the physician
Monitor patient vital signs and responses during procedures
Maintain sterile fields and follow infection control protocols
Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess patient needs and develop care plans
Provide post-procedure care and patient education
Document procedure details, patient responses, and complications accurately
Participate in quality assurance activities and safety initiatives
Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed
Stay current on vascular interventional technologies and practices
Adhere to all regulatory standards, organizational policies, and ethical guidelines
Required Qualifications
Proficiency in operating imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, angiography, ultrasound)
Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control procedures
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years
Preferred Qualifications
E xperience in a hospital or interventional radiology setting
Certifications
ARRT Certification (Vascular Interventional Radiography preferred)
