Superintendent - The Raven Golf Club at Snowshoe Mountain Resort
Make a Difference with your Golf Career! Lead our outstanding golf maintenance and operations team at Top 100 Golf Resort Course, according to Golf Magazine and #3 Best Golf Course in WV. Stunning property! Every hole is an Instagram Pic!
About the Property Founded in 1992, the Raven Golf Club at Snowshoe Mountain Resort is one of West Virginia’s premier golf destinations. Designed by Gary Player, the course features Bentgrass fairways and greens, dramatic elevation changes, and has hosted numerous professional and amateur events.
Located at elevation, the property benefits from an approximately eight-month growing season, cooler summer temperatures, and historically low disease pressure, allowing the maintenance team to focus on turf quality, playability, and sustainability rather than constant reactive disease management. The environment supports strong Bentgrass performance and offers an excellent quality of life for agronomy professionals seeking balance without sacrificing course standards.
We are seeking an experienced Golf Course Superintendent with the leadership presence to take on limited operational and administrative responsibilities. This is not a traditional General Manager/Superintendent role.
Food & Beverage operations and Golf Shop merchandising are managed separately
Administrative duties are light and focused, primarily related to budgeting, planning, and coordination
The role is hands‑on, agronomy‑driven, with authority to lead course conditions, maintenance strategy, and the maintenance team
This position is ideal for a Superintendent who wants autonomy, a premier golf product, and a seat at the leadership table—without being pulled into retail or restaurant management.
