As the

Community Development Lead

, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding Flourish Care’s presence across New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, and New York. This is a mission‑driven opportunity to build partnerships that directly increase access to high‑quality maternal support services. Your work will help ensure more families receive the compassionate, comprehensive care they deserve.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in community‑facing work, understands the maternal health landscape, and is energized by building relationships that drive measurable impact.

What you'll do

Grow Regional Partnerships

Build and manage referral networks with FQHCs, WIC offices, hospital systems, OB/GYN and midwifery practices, and community‑based organizations. Your efforts should lead to signed BAAs/MOUs and a steady pipeline of new patient intakes.

Drive Patient Intake Growth

Meet with potential and existing referral partners in person at least twice per week across the tristate region. Within six months, partnerships should generate at least 30 new patient intakes per month, with the goal of doubling within 12 months.

Champion the Flourish Care Brand

Clearly communicate our mission, model, and the unique value of doula‑led care to stakeholders across the maternal health ecosystem.

Engage the Community

Represent Flourish Care at regional events, conferences, and presentations to increase visibility and strengthen community trust.

Support Operational Excellence Collaborate with leadership and team members to streamline clinical operations and ensure seamless integration of new partnerships. Support and lead ongoing and evolving projects, implementations, and activity.

Track and Report Progress Maintain accurate records of partnership activities, referral metrics, and outcomes. Provide regular updates to the CEO on strategy, performance, and insights on what’s working—and what’s not.

Contribute to Marketing Efforts Share field insights with the Marketing Team to support the creation of compelling, community‑informed content

What you'll bring

Education & Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare outreach, sales, marketing, or community engagement

Direct experience in maternal health services is required

Skills & Strengths

Exceptional communication and relationship‑building abilities

Proven success in territory management and partnership development

Strong project management and organizational skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and partnership‑tracking tools

Ability to work independently, travel regionally, and manage a flexible schedule. Travel expectation - 25%.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
