Job Responsibilities
Develop complex analyses for specific areas of expertise
Generate & distribute monthly Material Estimates at Completion (EACs) for backlog projects
Identify root causes for anomalies in the month over month EACs & report variances to project teams
Monitor the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on production capacity, materials availability, contractual requirements & proactively report risk to the program and operations offices
Obtain agreement from production, materials, and program office before execution of the MPS
Ensure closeout of old programs/jobs to include the disposition of all requisition, purchase orders and residual inventory
Monitor shipping & build performance to MPS and contract and create tracking reports
Interfacing with contracts, planning, master scheduling and production to create and maintain the Internal Operating Plan (IOP)
Ensure product is moving from production to packaging to shipping
Create reports that show actual shipments against projections
Create reports that identify material risks against build schedule
Work closely with manufacturing to establish and evolve a stable manufacturing schedule
Improve current system, functions, reports, and daily operations to meet goals more effectively
Responsible for rescheduling daily delivery requirements if conflicts require a re-plan to meet internal needs and/or contractual obligations
All other projects as assigned by management
Support, communicate and defend the mission, values, and culture of the company
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience
Solid understanding of manufacturing, business processes, and functional inter-relationships
Strong background in project material management
Extensive experience in production planning
Advanced understanding of MRP systems
Advanced data analysis and data mining skills
Advanced problem-solving skills
Advanced skill in the use of Excel, Power Query, Power BI
Proficient in Power Point, Word, as well as Sharepoint
The salary range for this position is $77,818 to $111,280 per year. This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate’s qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees as applicable).
