Overview The Voluntary Benefits - Director of Center of Excellence will lead the strategic development, implementation, and management of GTEC’s Center of Excellence (COE). This role is responsible for driving innovation, operational excellence, and thought leadership in voluntary benefits service, marketing, and implementation ensuring alignment with Gallagher’s organizational goals and client needs. The Director will collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and clients to deliver best-in-class voluntary benefits strategies that enhance employee wellbeing and engagement.

How you’ll make an impact Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the GTEC Center of Excellence.

Lead the integration of COE assets from across the Gallagher enterprise (legacy, AssuredPartners, iBTR, etc.)

Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert in voluntary benefits, providing insights and guidance to internal teams and clients.

Operational Excellence

Establish and maintain best practices, processes, and tools for delivering voluntary benefits solutions.

Ensure operational efficiency and scalability of the COE to support Gallagher’s growth objectives.

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of voluntary benefits programs and identify areas for improvement.

Team Leadership and Development

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team within the Voluntary Benefits COE.

Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and expertise.

Market Analysis and Innovation

Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting voluntary benefits.

Identify opportunities to integrate new solutions and technologies into Gallagher’s voluntary benefits offerings.

Represent Gallagher at industry events, conferences, and forums to showcase thought leadership and build brand recognition.

About You Required: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years client service and/or claims management experience -OR- High School degree/GED with 10+ years client service and/or claims management experience. 3+ years supervisory experience. Appropriate licensing as required.

Preferred: Demonstrates a breadth and depth of operational service delivery management expertise focused on service quality, people, process and technology. Prior experience designing and implementing. Significant experience leading and managing teams (preferably in a matrix environment) with an operational service delivery or shared services environment.

Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand and scheduled hours.
