Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines is a coastal retreat with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean from the hotel's balconies and patios. Ideal Candidate Requirements
Minimum of 2 years experience in Food and Beverage in a supervisory capacity, preferably a hotel setting
Minimum of 3 years experience in banquets as a banquet captain or manager
Previous experience in a high‑volume hotel banquet department, with a minimum of at least 20,000 sq. ft. meeting space
Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must have open availability!
Shift pattern: varies, must be open to work morning, evening, weekends and holidays

What Will I Be Doing? As a Banquet Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily execution of all banquet functions to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will manage daily banquet functions, including planning, organizing, and executing breakfasts, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, galas, etc.; oversee the set‑up of function rooms, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, develop and supervise the team, recruit, interview and train staff, and coordinate with other departments.
