Primary Care Physician Opening in Wilton, Connecticut (50 miles from New York City)
Affiliated with Norwalk Hospital, Nuvance Health, we are seeking a Primary Care Physician for our Wilton Primary and Specialty Care practice in Wilton, Connecticut. Work with five experienced physicians in a busy, established practice in a family‑friendly location with close proximity to NYC and close to Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, CT.
Nestled in the heart of Fairfield County, with consistently top‑ranked schools, Wilton is an ideal and safe community to raise a family or relocate your business. Wilton offers diverse housing options, outdoor activities, restaurants, retail and theater options to meet your needs. With easy access to the Merritt Parkway and I‑95 and two train stations with free parking, Wilton is commutable to the area's major employment centers. Alternatively, Wilton is home to many national and regional businesses allowing residents to live and work in one place.
This is an employed position with Nuvance Health Medical Practice. Competitive total compensation package includes base salary, incentive pay, paid time off, CME time off and allowance, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k match and contribution. Hiring bonus and relocation stipend may also be available.
The ideal candidate will be a compassionate primary care physician who provides comprehensive care in a team‑based environment to our population of patients. Duties include caring for acute and chronic conditions and working with multidisciplinary support staff to promote the health and well‑being of our entire patient panel.
This full‑time, office‑based position provides outpatient services only and utilizes a state‑of‑the‑art Electronic Health Record fully integrated across all hospitals and sites.
Job Requirements
MD or DO with excellent academic credentials
CT State License, Federal DEA and State Controlled Substance Registration
Have completed an Internal Medicine Residency or Family Medicine Residency (practices with adult patients only)
Experience as a Primary Care Physician preferred; new graduates welcome
Must be Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible
Off‑hour coverage – shared among multiple providers, phone calls only with nurse triage
