Description

You must be able to effectively communicate with all areas of the company and customers.. You will be tasked with defining, developing and managing products and must engage teams in every aspect of the development process. You will be the expert and champion both internally and externally for your products and will be required to communicate the product lines values. You will be required to use your interpersonal skills to influence team members across multiple functions.

Key Responsibilities

Product Roadmap Development: develop and execute a product roadmap that is aligned with market trends, customer needs and company goals Lifecycle management: Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities Market Research and Analysis: Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and other key stakeholders. Data Analytics: Analyze market performance data of current product portfolio and provide strategic recommendations to leadership stakeholders Cross-functional Collaboration: Using project management skills to drive the development and execution of a product solution across all cross-functional teams from market requirements through launch. Customer & Sales Support: provide ongoing support to sales, marketing and customers on product specifications through training and presentations

Requirements

Bachelors degree in business, engineering or a related field; MBA preferred 5+ years of product management experience Knowledgeable in lighting and/or building controls highly valued Strong data analysis & presentation skills Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills Strong interpersonal skills highly collaborative and able to work effectively in a team Excellent communicator and listener to multiple audiences. Excellent organization and time management skills This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites in (10%).
