Job Opportunity: OB/GYN Hospitalist in Beautiful Palm Springs, CA
We are seeking an additional Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our dedicated team at a reputable facility located in Palm Springs, California. Job Responsibilities:- A full-time position requiring approximately 7.5 24-hour in-house shifts per month (approximately 2190 hours annually).
- Possibility of a minimum of 5.5 shifts per month (1560 hours annually) while still being benefit eligible.
- Work collaboratively with 2 OB Hospitalists in-house 24/7 never on shift alone.
- Attend deliveries, manage OB triage, and provide patient evaluation/management.
- Assist in surgeries, conduct fetal monitoring, and cover the emergency room.
- Consult with maternal-fetal medicine specialists for high-risk cases.
- Participate in a vibrant practice that attends approximately 60 deliveries per month.
- Support the community Level-III NICU for newborns at 23 weeks and above.
- Engage in teaching opportunities with fellows, residents, and medical students.
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
- California Medical License (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
- OB Hospitalist work experience - PREFERRED
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) - REQUIRED
- Interest in full-time or part-time employment - REQUIRED
- Local residency or willingness to relocate - REQUIRED
- DEA license (must be obtained prior to start) - REQUIRED
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in OB/GYN.
- Active California Medical License or intent to obtain.
- DEA must be acquired before starting employment.
