St. Joseph Regional Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to provide inpatient psychiatric coverage on an ongoing basis. This role is available due to a provider vacancy/medical leave and offers a stable, long-term locum tenens assignment in a supportive hospital environment.
Schedule: 5 days per month (scheduled clinical hours plus call)
Setting: Inpatient Psychiatry
Admissions Required: Yes
Privileges: Temporary privileges available
Call Type: Beeper call (details TBD)
EMR: MediTech
Patients per shift: TBD
Board Certified in Psychiatry REQUIRED
Active Idaho Medical License REQUIRED
BLS Certification REQUIRED
Must be comfortable with:
Anxiety, affective, ADD/ADHD, personality, eating, developmental, psychotic, and organic disorders
Involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, restraint application
Pharmacotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, and ECT
Insurance: Provided by IPL
Travel & Lodging: Open to full travel.
Credentialing timeframe: 60 days- Temps available!
Holidays observed: New Year s, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas
