Join Our Team as a Non-Invasive Cardiologist in Coos Bay, OR!
We are seeking a dedicated Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a collaborative and growing cardiology service line at a 127-bed Level III Trauma facility. Located in the stunning Coos Bay, Oregon, our hospital serves a catchment area of over 320,000 residents. Be a part of our commitment to providing excellent healthcare to this amazing community!
Job Responsibilities:- Clinic rotation: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, with shared on-call duties including Echo rotation.
- Evaluate and manage a broad scope of treatments for cardiac disease processes.
- Interpret EKGs, Echocardiography, Cardiac Nuclear Imaging, and conduct stress Echocardiography.
- Collaborate with other medical specialties to meet established standards of care.
- Provide outreach services to nearby critical access hospitals.
- Manage patient care documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Participate in physician meetings and assist in policy formation.
- Maintain compliance with CME requirements and hospital regulations.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology (Non-Invasive).
- Fellowship-trained in Cardiology.
- Desirable: Nuclear and Echo certification.
- Clean malpractice history.
- Must have ties to Oregon, such as family in the area or prior residence.
- Oregon Medical License (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA license (must be obtained prior to start).
- Recent NPDB self-query report (within 30 days active).
